A few honest answers.

Does Jisr upload my files anywhere?+

No. Transfers are sent directly between your paired computers over the local network.

Can I use Jisr between two Windows PCs or two Macs?+

Yes. Jisr supports Windows-to-Windows, Mac-to-Mac, and Windows-to-Mac transfers. Both computers just need Jisr and access to the same local network.

Will updates erase my pairings?+

Normal Jisr updates keep settings, history, and pairings. The first move from OrbitSend to Jisr requires pairing once under the new app identity.

Why can macOS show a security warning?+

Jisr is currently an early-access, unsigned build. Apple notarization will be added before wider public distribution.
